  • The Florida Groves Music Festival returns to Orlando with Music, Art, and Cannabis Culture

The Florida Groves Festival promises an eventful weekend to captivate your soul and keep you movin and groovin! This year, Florida Groves is promising to take you even higher than before! Florida Groves , the festival that focuses on music, cannabis and arts, is set to make a welcome return to the Orlando Amphitheater on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, 2025. Traditionally rooted in reggae, this year’s lineup brings an exciting evolution to the festival by blending electronic and bass music with its familiar reggae and alt-rock soundscape. Get ready for a jam packed weekend filled with incredible live performances including headliners Oliver Tree, and Big Giantic. Florida Groves 2025 will also feature performances by The Floozies, Fortunate Youth, The Hip Abduction, Little Stranger, Jarv, Jason Leech, Know Good and Shwayze, and many more! The festival’s expansion into electronic genres introduces new sounds while still honoring its reggae foundation. It's not just music at Florida Groves Festival, make sure to experience everything the festival has to offer!! Beyond the musical performances, the Florida Groves Music Festival features a variety of unique experiences, including vendor marketplaces, live art installations, glassblowing demonstrations, and a tattoo convention. Attendees will have access to a wide selection of vendors, offering food, drinks, and one-of-a-kind merchandise. Live art installations and interactive exhibits will also contribute to the festival’s creative atmosphere, making it an engaging event for all ages. Cannabis Florida Groves festival is all about cannabis, art, and music, and if you’re coming to learn about cannabis or celebrate cannabis-you’re in the right place. You’ll have the opportunity to inform yourself about marijuana legalization, get more into cannabis education and learn a few things about growing marijuana yourself with Florida Legacy Growers, and growers from around the US participating throughout the weekend. Tattoo Artists The ultimate fan move is getting a tattoo to remember your experience at the Florida Groves Festival. Not many public gatherings provide the opportunity to get some ink, but this music festival isn’t your everyday run-of-the-mill happening. Check out high-class artists and see which design would look good on your body. Live Art If you’re not an artist yourself, you’ve likely never witnessed the creation of a mural. This complicated process takes hours to complete, but lucky Florida Groves visitors will have an opportunity to see one from scratch to finish. A true collaboration, to see these artists work with their hands & make mental images into reality is just, for lack of better terminology, dope. Beyond that, they will have amazing glass blowing artists blowing everything from water pipes to pendants. Along with Lewis Black, Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan, she’s one of the funniest stand-up comedians of her generation. “I just want to tell jokes,” says Madigan, “I didn’t start doing open mics to become an actor on a sitcom or in a TV commercial. Those things never even crossed my mind. I just like to tell jokes for an hour or so and laugh. For a few of us working today, this was our goal. We don’t have any more goals. Can’t you ever have a goal, reach it and then enjoy it? This society is being driven by type A lunatics that say ‘you have to set more goals.’ No you don’t. Have a seat and enjoy the fact that you’re here! Maybe that’s the Irish in me talking, though.” It’s been a 25 year career of 250 nights a year on the road. “We don’t get time off like a band. Our tours never end. That’s why it makes me laugh when people say ‘how long is your tour?’ Well so far, 25 years.” She’s gone from one nighters, to club gigs, to theaters, to headlining the Mirage in Las Vegas. She’s won the American Comedy Award for “Best Female Comedian” and the Phyllis Diller award for “Best Female Comedian.” She’s done two USO tours to Iraq and Afganistan with pals Lewis Black, Robin Williams, John Bowman and musicals acts Kid Rock, The Zac Brown Band, Kix Brooks and Kellie Pickler. “There’s no better show on earth than a show for the troops. Trust me, no crowd is as happy to see a show as 1000 soldiers in Kabul. I do USO shows at home here in the US too but the further people are away, the more they appreciate it. I don’t think they get paid enough for a hard job so I like to do something for free when I can.” Madigan has performed internationally at festivals and theaters in Ireland, England, Australia and has filmed six Montreal Gala Shows at the Montreal Comedy Festival for Canadian television. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri Kathleen splits her time between the road, Los Angeles and Missouri. All the latest feel good news and more from Orlando and throughout Central Florida .
