Winter Wonderland is back for 2022 and it’s growing at Wekiva Island in Longwood.
Wekiva Island have supersizing their sparkling Christmas Tree Forest with a 30-foot Christmas tree, plus enjoy nightly snow flurries, sparkling holiday décor, visits from Santa and other holiday characters and special events for the whole family to enjoy.
Winter Wonderland at Wekiva Island begins December 2nd through Christmas Day!
You can enjoy a truly Floridian way to take on the traditional winter Sleigh Ride at Wekiva Island with a Sleigh Ride down The Wekiva River on Saturday & Sundays from 11 to 5 p.m.
Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday, wander through the Christmas Tree Forest, visit with Santa, listen to a story read by Mrs. Claus, and then check out the shenanigans of The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who and The Whoville Elves.
In the spirit of the season, Wekiva Island will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.
Wekiva Island will also be offering specials and discounts at its General Store, in addition to free gift wrapping on ALL gifts brought to the Island—so guests can kick back with a beverage with Island elves do all the hard work.
Winter Wonderland is open to the public. There is a $2 admission fee, and select events require an additional ticket.
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
December 2, 2022. 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Join Wekiva Island as Santa and Mrs. Claus officially kick off the holiday season by lighting the huge 20-foot-tall Christmas tree at 7 p.m.
The snow flurries will be flying, and there will be live music and plenty of holiday cheer.
Don’t forget to take a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
Wekiva Island is in Longwood, around a 30 minute drive from Orlando in your sleigh.
