Sad news, as one of the first vegan restaurants to ever open in Central Florida has closed the doors forever.

Ethos Vegan Kitchen, a pioneer of vegan dining in Central Florida has closed the doors to the business after an incredible 17 years serving vegan food to the masses.


The eatery located next to Rollins College at  601 S. New York Avenue in Winter Park has already closed. Closing without any notice to loyal customers.

The company website has beed stripped to a single page advising customers of the closure, simply stating, "We Have Closed. Thank you Orlando for 17 years in business! Your friends at Ethos Vegan Kitchen.'"


A. small link at the bottom of the page links to a page for merch sales. proclaiming, "Last chance for Ethos logo gear."




The only social media page for Ethos Vegan Kitchen, their Instagram page has been deleted.


No reason has been given for the sudden closure, with customers left in the dark as to the reason for the decision to close.


However, earlier this year, Ethos Vegan Kitchen was issued an emergency shutdown order by state health inspectors, but there is no reason to belives teh closure no whas anything to do wth this.
