The City of Winter Garden has been working behind the scenes to re-open the Garden Theatre during the Christmas season as a benefit to the local community.
For the benefit of the community, the City of Winter Garden is hosting limited holiday programming at the Garden Theatre under the direction of City of Winter Garden staff.
On December 10, 11, 17, and 18, the City of Winter Garden presents Holiday Flix at the Garden.
These holiday classic movies appeal to all ages and conjure past holiday memories -- and help to create new ones. See these festive flix in the timeless ambiance of the Garden Theatre while visiting the Holiday Wonderland in historic downtown Winter Garden.
It’s a Wonderful Life will be shown on Dec. 10 at 4 pm and Dec. 11 at 7 pm.
Elf will be shown on Dec. 17 at 4 pm and Dec. 18 at 7 pm.

Holiday Wonderland and Outdoor Holiday Entertainment
Whether it is date night or family night out, combine your evening at the theatre with free holiday events taking place in the picturesque Holiday Wonderland of historic downtown Winter Garden. The overall holiday experience will make life-long merry memories!

Downtown has a variety of eateries from fine dining and casual restaurants and cafes to bakeries, ice cream and chocolate shops to grab some dinner, dessert, or hot chocolate before or after the concert. Visit the one-of-kind shops for great holiday gifts!
A Merry Winter Garden Light Show
From 6 - 9 pm, A Merry Winter Garden Light Show will be projected onto nearby City Hall (300 W. Plant St.)
Holiday Street Performers
Catch holiday music from 6 - 9 pm at the Centennial Plaza Gazebo, amusing holiday show with plenty of fun antics at Parking Garage Plaza (160 S. Boyd St.), as well as strolling holiday-themed stilt walkers throughout downtown.
Main Street Holiday Stroll
Stroll on South Main Street between West Plant Street and West Joiner Street, stroll through this picturesque all-new holiday experience that will put the jolly in everyone's step.
Holiday Wonderland
The entire historic downtown area looks like it's a set of a Hallmark movie with its holiday decorations and small-town charm. Stroll through the beautiful sights and see if you can find and snap pics at all the photo stations located throughout.
