Orlando New Year's Eve Events Guide
As we countdown the final days to the biggest party night of the year, there is nowhere better to celebrate than Orlando, and best of all you won't have Jack Frost breathing down your neck, so forget the hats and scarfs, and get ready to party like its 2025!
New Year’s Eve is an exciting time to be in Orlando, and whether you're a local looking for inspiration, or a visitor looking forward to ringing in the new year at world-class celebrations, we've got you covered with the biggest and best things do do in Orlando and throughout Central Florida.

Theme Park Events & Fireworks
December 31
New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days of the year at Walt Disney World, but you can expect more bang for your buck, with an amazing party atmosphere, extended park hours, dance parties, huge fireworks extravaganzas, and more! Bets of all at Magic Kingdom you can celebrate New Year's Eve on December 30 and 31!!
Read on for what guests visiting Walt Disney World at New Year's Eve can expect for park hours and fireworks times across all four theme parks, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 am (early entry 8:30 am) to midnight on December 30 and December 31. The traditional wow factor, the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks extravagana is scheduled twice each evening, at 6:30 pm and 11:50 pm. This is a must-see show!!
EPCOT
EPCOT will be open from 9 am (early entry 8:30 am) to 1 am on December 31. The regular nighttime show, Luminous The Symphony of Us, will begin at 6:30 pm, with a New Year's countdown fireworks show, "Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration," lighting up the sky starting at 11:54 pm.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios will be open from 9 am (early entry 8:30 am) to midnight on December 31. Note, that Hollywood Studios will not feature New Year's Eve fireworks.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom will close earlier than the other parks on December 31,opening at 8 am (early entry 7:30 am) to 6 pm. Note, that Animal Kingdom will not feature New Year's Eve fireworks.

Enjoy festive surprises at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure during the final days of Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort. And on Dec. 31, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will be open till 1 am with Universal CityWalk staying open till 2 am.
Several Universal Orlando Resort hotels will also have specially ticketed New Year’s Eve celebrations for guests and non-guests alike, including Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort will welcome 2025 with Kids’ New Year’s Eve at LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park. Witness colorful bursts of LEGO brick-bursting fireworks lighting the night sky over Lake Eloise, groove at the DJ Dance Party, and explore festive activities — and at the kid-friendly hour of 8 p.m. Additionally, experience the exclusive “Brick-drop” countdown on Dec. 31!
Kids' New Year's Eve is included in day tickets, hotel packages, and select Annual Passes.

Join Busch Gardens on December 31 for a New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring
unforgettable fun during the day and fireworks at night, the park is giving 2025 a wondrous welcome with bold fireworks, entertainment and more.
Enjoy all the festive activities of Busch Gardens Christmas Town with millions of twinkling lights, holiday shows, specialty dining and fan-favorite thrill rides. Then, ring in the new year with a special fireworks show with a fantastic soundtrack sure to help you ring in the New Year with cheer.

December 26 - 31 End the year with a bricktastic bang at Kids' New Years Eve! "Midnight" comes early for families at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, celebrating the New Year together with brick-bursting fireworks and awesome entertainment, all without missing their bedtimes.
Plus, Kids' New Years Eve is included in day tickets, hotel packages, and select Annual Passes.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the New Year's Eve Party For Kids At Boxi Park, with a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party with live music, face painting, and kid-friendly activities from 4 - 8 p.m.
Especially for the kids, Boxi Park will countdown the new year with a “balloon ball drop” at 7 p.m.

Families can ring in the New Year on December 31, 2024 at the Jazzberry Jammin' New Year's Eve at The Crayola Experience, in the Florida Mall.

A new year’s party that takes place in an Enchanted Forrest. There will be dinner, games, crafts, our famous balloon artist and a glitter face painter. Celebrate New Year's Eve At Boxi Park all day long in Lake Nona! From family-friendly daytime events to evening soirees, there’s something for all ages.
Start the day early at Boxi Park, with lunch from 11–3 p.m. followed by a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party with live music, face painting, and kid-friendly activities from 4-8 p.m. Especially for the kids, Boxi Park will countdown the new year with a “balloon ball drop” at 7 p.m. The festivities are free until 4 p.m., with a cover charge thereafter.
As the sun goes down, the grown up festivities continue at Box Park late into the evening with a ticketed 21+ party from 9 p.m.-1 a.m, featuring DJ and live music.

The Thornton Park New Year's Eve Street Party offers something for everyone. You can dress to the nines red carpet ready, or come casual and comfortable. Taking place over two and half city blocks, this event gives you plenty of space and options to keep you entertained all night long.
The strip has 7-venues to hop around to along with two-stages with jumbo-trons on on either end of the block party, keeping music pumping all night.
A VIP options offers a third stage and DJ performance, with an exclusive area for it's guests.
