Walt Disney World Road Closures For 2022 runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Races This Weekend

Get your running shoes ready as the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is here!

Ahead of this weekend's races, Walt Disney World has announced the road closures that will be in effect during the Event.

The route that runners will take during the 5k on Friday, the 10k on Saturday, and the half-marathon on Sunday will impact certain Walt Disney World roadways.

Here’s a list of the expected road closures and modified routes through Sunday.

Disney Wine & Dine 5K, Friday, November 4

The 5k takes place mostly inside of EPCOT and the EPCOT resort area, so impacts to public roadways will be minimal.

The only significant impact will be to Overpass Road, which will be closed from 4:30am to 7am, and Backstage Lane Northbound, which will be closed from 3am to 7am.

Disney Wine & Dine 10K , Saturday, November 5

The 10k will utilize EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and portions of World Drive, EPCOT Center Drive, and Buena Vista Drive. Here are the significant road closures:

Epcot Center Drive (ECD) West to Epcot Toll Plaza: Closed 4am to 7am

World Drive Southbound (Starting at Seven Seas Drive) to Buena Vista Drive: Closed 4am to 7:30am

ECD West Ramp to World Drive South: Closed 4am to 7:30am

Buena Vista Drive Eastbound to Cypress Drive: Modified traffic pattern 4:30am to 7:30am

World Drive Northbound to Epcot Toll Plaza: Modified traffic pattern 4:30am to 7am

Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon,

Sunday November 6

The Half Marathon will utilize significant portions of EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and longer portions of World Drive and EPCOT Center Drive.

Here are the significant road closures:

EPCOT Center Drive: Closed from 11pm (Nov. 5th) to 9am (Nov. 6th)

World Drive Southbound (Starting at Seven Seas Drive) to Buena Vista Drive: Closed 4am to 9:30am

Buena Vista Drive Eastbound to Cypress Drive: Modified traffic pattern 4:30am to 9am

World Drive Northbound to Epcot Toll Plaza: Modified traffic pattern 4:30am to 7:15am

Overpass Road: closed 3am to 7:30am
