Yesterday, Friday, November 11, 2022, Walt Disney World Resort, honoured Veterans Day and paid tribute to resort cast members who served in the armed forces with a very special flag retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom.
The daily flag retreat ceremony at Walt Disney World Resort is just one way the resort recognizes military heroes, and these are always memorable moments.
The Walt Disney Company created the Heroes Work Here program, which has seen the company hire more than 12,500 veterans since it was established in 2012.
Most recently Walt Disney World launched this year’s National Veterans and Military Families Month in a very big way with a flyover of Magic Kingdom Park by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds air demonstration team on October, 27, 2022.
