Walt Disney World has announced that it will be closing some of its resort properties over the coming days due to the arrival of Subtropical Storm Nicole in the Central Florida area.
The latest track from the National Hurricane Center shows the path of Nicole has shifted more north, potentially impacting our immediate east coast in Brevard County and Central Florida.
As of Tuesday, Nicole's maximum sustained winds are at 50 mph.
The closures announced this morning by Walt Disney World are:
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will all be closed Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, November 11.
Disney is contacting Guests with current and upcoming reservations impacted by this change.
In addition, performances of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue have been cancelled for Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, November 11.
Guests with pre-paid reservations will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
