As Tropical Storm Nicole targets Central Florida in the coming days, Walt Disney World have removed hotel reservation availability ahead of the storms arrival.
This is an identical move to what the resort did in the days leading up to the resort closing ahead of Hurricane Ian.
Nicole is forecast to impact the Central Florida area from late Wednesday November 9 through Thursday, November 10.
Due to the expected severe weather, Walt Disney World has already announced some closures and cancelations which we have listed below.
In addition, Walt Disney World have announced that they have suspended all new Disney Park Pass reservations for Thursday and Friday for all ticket types.
Walt Disney World has already announced this morning, Tuesday November 8, that it will be closing some of its resort properties over the coming days due to the arrival of Subtropical Storm Nicole in the Central Florida area.
The closures announced this morning by Walt Disney World are:
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will all be closed Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, November 11.
Disney is contacting Guests with current and upcoming reservations impacted by this change.
In addition, performances of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue have been cancelled for Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, November 11.
Guests with pre-paid reservations will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is also affected and will be closed on Thursday November 10 as Subtropical Storm Nicole moves through Central Florida.
Plus, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf will also be closed on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
