At last! After more than 500 days of operating a virtual queue, TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom will offer a standby line beginning September 9, 2024.
Walt Disney World has announced that TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom will offer a standby line for the first time, beginning September 9, 2024.
Since the ride opened in April 2023, guests had to join a virtual queue or purchase a Lightning Lane pass, costing on average $20 per guest.
Once Tron switches to a standby line, the only remaining rides at Walt Disney World using a virtual queues will bet Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom.
Through September 8, 2024., guests will still have to request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle Run, wither at 7 am, (Guests do not need to be in Magic Kingdom to join the virtual queue at this time) or 1 pm, (Guests must be in Magic Kingdom to join the virtual queue at this time).
