Good news from Walt Disney World as they announce the end of virtual queues at two of the most popular and newer attractions at the resort.

Walt Disney World has announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, two of the most popular and newer attractions at the resort will no longer use a virtual queue for guests to gain entry to the rides.
Now guests can simply join the standby queue for both attractions once inside the theme parks starting February 25, 2025.
Virtual queues at Walt Disney World is a digital system that allows guests to reserve their spot for popular attractions without waiting in a traditional line. Guests join via the My Disney Experience app at specific times. Once called, they return to the ride with a minimal wait time.
The virtual queue usually offers guest two opportunities per day to reserve a spot for an attraction using the virtual queue, at 7 am and 1 pm.
A virtual queue has been in place from the opening Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT on May 22, 2022, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom, since opening on June 28, 2024.
Now, from February 25, guests can experience both attraction via a Standby Queue, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, or Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
