Walt Disney World are continuing the resort wide installation of new interactive TV's

Disney's Pop Century Resort

Walt Disney World have announced that starting today, Monday, January 16, technicians will begin installing new interactive TV's in all Disney's Pop Century Resort guestrooms.

The project will be completed in multiple phases over the next few weeks, with work taking place between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, with the rooms in Building 1 the first to be impacted.

This interactive television system personalizes the in-room TV experience by welcoming Guests upon arrival. Guests can also enjoy streaming in their room with complimentary Disney content and connectivity for their personal device to stream their subscribed content (Disney+, Hulu, etc.). Standard channels, park hours, resort amenities, and information are also available.

Smart phones, tablets, and laptops are supported to stream to the TV, but only content from Chromecast-enabled apps (mirroring is not supported) can be sent to the TV.
