Walt Disney World Begin Closing Attractions Plus Transportation Options Due To Hurricane Ian

Florida's rapidly approaching Hurricane Ian is beginning to impact operations at Walt Disney World with the company already moving to secure locations which are vulnerable due to expected effects of the major storm..

So far on the attractions side of operations, Test Track at EPCOT is now closed, with guests holding Lighting Lane reservations being offered alternative experiences.

Outside the parks, The Disney Skyliner transportation system is now closed. The gondola system is very sensitive to severe weather, and the gondolas are being secured to weather the storm.
