For all those things hiding in the shadows, Walt Disney World is getting a brand new land... Villains Land is coming to Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort.
As Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced during Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, this new land will be home to the Disney Villains we know and loathe from our favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios classic films — “Which means happily ever after may feel like just a distant dream.”
The evil ambition of all these Villains means that the possibilities are endless for the stories that can be told — and visitors to the dark and thorny land should be prepared for whatever chaos might come their way.
The new land will encompass all your dreams- er, nightmares. The space will be home to two major attractions, dining, and shopping on an incredibly twisted grand scale. “Be prepared, you poor unfortunate souls,” Josh teased. “It’s going to be a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be.”
You might have just felt a shiver run down your spine. That’s because preparation is already underway at Magic Kingdom for this new land. Maybe think twice before you indulge in that next shiny red apple… This is massive news for Walt Disney World, and we can't wait for this new land!

The Disney Experience Showcase, presented by Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro, revealed announcements and updates on new and highly anticipated projects from Disney Parks and Experiences around the world.
D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is a Disney fan event taking place from August 9 - 11 in Anaheim, CA. The event features all the worlds of Disney, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more, providing a weekend of presentations, panels, experiences, performances, shopping, and more!
