Central Florida has been enjoying mild temperatures over the Christmas Holidays, but as we countdown to 2024, temperatures are set to drop into the 40s forcing Universal Orlando to join Walt Disney World in closing it's water park.
Don't get too comfortable with the mild temperatures in Orlando, as from tomorow, Thursday, December 28, cooler temperatures are set to plunge the city into the low 40's by the time we welcome the new year, forcing Universal Orlando to close Volcano Bay water park for the next three days, from Thursday, December 28 through Saturday, December 30, 2023.
Walt Disney World has already announced that Disney's Blizzard Beach will be closed from Thursday, December 28 through Sunday, December 31, 2023.
So, how cold will it be? Thursday afternoon, temperatures will cool into the upper 60s with lows into the low 50s by Thursday night.
Friday and Saturday will see daytime highs in the low 60s, with a nighttime low forecast to be in the low 40s. For Sunday, New Year's Eve its more of the same, with the advice being to wrap up warm if you're out and about celebrating the countdown to 2024, as temps are expected to be in the low 40s as the clock strikes midnight!
