Universal Orlando Resort have just made a house announcement for this years Halloween Horror Nights 32... Get ready to step into the world of The Last of Us!
Universal Orlando Resort have revealed that Halloween Horror Nights 32 at Universal Studios Florida will feature a brand new house based on the video game The Last of Us.
Get ready to step into the world of The Last of Us, where terrified guests will encounter the haunting and overgrown world of Naughty Dog’s video game in a brand-new, terrifying way, as you fight to survive and navigate your way through an abandoned Pittsburgh with Joel and Ellie.
Stay as silent as you can if you want to survive a multitude of Clickers, Hunters and more!
Halloween Horror Nights 32 will take place at Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 1 through October 31, 2023.
HHN 32 will feature 10 terrifying haunted houses, 5 sinister scare zones and live entertainment, and this year expect high-scoring scares when the iconic video game The Last of Us comes to life as part of this year's Halloween Horror Nights.
The haunted house is inspired by the hugely popular Naughty Dog and PlayStation game, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
Set in a ravaged civilization, where Infected and hardened survivors run rampant, Naughty Dog and PlayStation’s “The Last of Us” video game, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has captivated audiences since its release.
And now, guests can immerse themselves in a real-life experience that puts them directly into the game’s frightening world.
“The Last of Us” haunted house will propel guests into a world of carnage and mayhem as they follow in the footsteps of the game’s protagonists, Joel and Ellie, who endure a brutal journey in a world overtaken by a fungal virus that turns humans into various forms of a new threat known as the Infected.
As guests encounter the Infected – Runners, Stalkers and Clickers – along with The Hunters, a band of hostile humans, they will need to navigate the Pittsburgh Quarantine Zone, including iconic locations from the video game such as the creepy and desolate The Hotel Grand and a labyrinth of dark and dank tunnels, in a desperate attempt to escape and survive.
Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann said “As a massive fan – and frequent attendee of Halloween Horror Nights, we are honored to have ‘The Last of Us’ included in this year’s lineup. It has been an incredible thrill for us at Naughty Dog to collaborate with Universal, bringing the world of the game to life, focusing on even the tiniest details that our fans know so well.”
The Last of Us will be a massive crowd-puller at HHN 32, and it's not the first of this year's haunted houses to be announced...
The murderous doll Chucky will be the star of an all-new house inspired by the smash hit SYFY and USA network series Chucky.
