Universal Orlando officially announce a Stranger Things House is coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Beginning September 1, guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort will be able to experience an all-new Stranger Things haunted house, where you will feel as though they have been transported into Hawkins, Indiana, where the newest supernatural villain, Vecna, is hell-bent on obliterating the volatile barrier between the eerie Upside Down and the real world.

This year’s petrifying haunted house will once again transport guests to Hawkins, Indiana, where they will encounter the newest supernatural villain, Vecna, who is hell-bent on obliterating the volatile barrier between the eerie Upside Down and the real world in an attempt to reign supreme.

The “Stranger Things” haunted house mirrors the mind-bending twists and supernatural terror of Season 4, immersing guests in a heart-pounding experience alongside valiant characters from the series, including Eleven, Max, Eddie and more. Guests will find themselves on the front line of Vecna’s deadly attacks on the citizens of Hawkins while traveling through iconic scenes, including the notorious Hawkins Lab, the enigmatic Creel House and Vecna’s chilling mindscape.

Along the way, guests will confront their deepest fears and come face to face with otherworldly creatures like demobats and even Vecna himself. In a race against the clock, guests find themselves in the ultimate showdown within Vecna’s blood-red Mind Lair, striving to escape and save mankind from his deadly curse.

“From the opening shots of ‘Stranger Things 4,’ episode one, we knew this was meant to be an experience at Halloween Horror Nights,” said John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. “We’re excited for our fans to live Vecna’s curse as we recreate the iconic and terrifying moments from the show,” added Lora Sauls, Assistant Director, Creative Development and Show Direction at Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal Orlando launches this year's Multi-Day Halloween Horror Nights Pass for HHN 32

Halloween Horror Nights 32 will take place at Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 1 through November 4, 2023.

HHN 32 will feature 10 terrifying haunted houses, 5 sinister scare zones and live entertainment, and this year expect high-scoring scares when the iconic video game The Last of Us comes to life as part of this year's Halloween Horror Nights.

The haunted house is inspired by the hugely popular Naughty Dog and PlayStation game, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.

Set in a ravaged civilization, where Infected and hardened survivors run rampant, Naughty Dog and PlayStation’s “The Last of Us” video game, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has captivated audiences since its release.

And now, guests can immerse themselves in a real-life experience that puts them directly into the game’s frightening world.

“The Last of Us” haunted house will propel guests into a world of carnage and mayhem as they follow in the footsteps of the game’s protagonists, Joel and Ellie, who endure a brutal journey in a world overtaken by a fungal virus that turns humans into various forms of a new threat known as the Infected.

As guests encounter the Infected – Runners, Stalkers and Clickers – along with The Hunters, a band of hostile humans, they will need to navigate the Pittsburgh Quarantine Zone, including iconic locations from the video game such as the creepy and desolate The Hotel Grand and a labyrinth of dark and dank tunnels, in a desperate attempt to escape and survive.

Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann said “As a massive fan – and frequent attendee of Halloween Horror Nights, we are honored to have ‘The Last of Us’ included in this year’s lineup. It has been an incredible thrill for us at Naughty Dog to collaborate with Universal, bringing the world of the game to life, focusing on even the tiniest details that our fans know so well.”

Chucky Coming To Halloween Horror Nights 2023

The Last of Us will be a massive crowd-puller at HHN 32, and it's not the first of this year's haunted houses to be announced...
