Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, Universal Orlando Resort have just announced that they will begin a phased reopening tomorrow, Friday September 30 to resort guests only.
Universal say they are continuing to conduct assessment and recovery efforts across the entire resort and only expect to begin a phased reopening of portions of the resort for guests currently staying at the Universal Orlando Hotels.
They have not indicated what part of the resort will open, or if it includes any of the resorts theme parks.
The resort has suffered damage, including a section of the show building for Jurassic River Adventure in Universal's Island Of Adventure being ripped off, PLUS, sections of the resort are still currently under flood water including The Incredible Hulk ride, and the pathways around the waterways throughout the entire resort.
