Universal Orlando Resort share the first look inside Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry at Epic Universe

We now have our first look nside Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, the headline attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic coming to Epic Universe in 2025.

Universal Orlando Resort has shared a sneak peek inside the full-scale recreation of the British Ministry of Magic that will be the setting of the new headline attraction, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.

This stunning new attraction will be located within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, opening May 22, 2025 at Epic Universe.

The world is set in 1920s wizarding Paris from the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” franchise, with all its shops, cafés and magical creatures.

Plus, you can take the Métro-Floo to 1990s Ministry of Magic London from the “Harry Potter” films, where you’ll make sure one of the wizarding world’s most notorious villains gets their comeuppance.

The ride takes guests on an adventure visit the Ministry of Magic for the trial of Dolores Umbridge soon after the defeat of Voldemort.

The queue will take you through the Ministry, including Umbridge’s office. There, you will encounter a new character, Higgledy, Umbridge’s former house-elf.

Along the way you will see the Fountain of Magical Brethren featuring a wizard, witch, house-elf, goblin, and centaur.

When you arrive at the front of the queue, you’ll board omnidirectional lifts to where Umbridge is about to face trial in London for her many crimes.

The first photo inside the lifts (ride vehicle) reveals tiered rows of red leather seats.

When Umbridge tries to escape before her trial, you will join Harry, Ron, Hermione and a house-elf named Higgledy on an incredible thrill ride to chase after her and make sure she pays for her crimes.
