Flying Dragons will soon be spotted high in the skies over Universal Orlando's brand new Epic Universe theme park.
At the excitement builds for the opening of Universal Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that flying dragons will indeed be seen in the Orlando skies above the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk land.
What was only a rumor that the land based on the popular film and television series would feature flying dragons has been confirmed in the latest article published in the official Discover Universal Blog.
The article, "Top Things Fans Can Look Forward to in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk at Universal Epic Universe reveals that, “The dragons that rule the skies are a sight to behold as well, and you can watch in awe as they soar above while you make your way around the theme park to each of the thrilling attractions in Isle of Berk.”
The accompanying piece of concept artwork depicts dragons flying over the land.
Dragon drones have been spotted testing in the skies above the new theme park, but until now there inclusion within the them park had not been confirmed.
