A new era has arrived! Today, Thursday, August 31, UCF opens its Big 12 era at home vs. Kent State, and UCF are ready to welcome back the Knight Nation!
For its inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference, UCF has unveiled a range of enhancements especially for the fans to enjoy in the 2023 season.
Here are the “Big Things” Knight fans can look forward to this season at the Bounce House:
New: In-house DJ now added for all games.
Enhanced visibility and improved connectivity with upgraded LED-colored lighting and advanced 5G technology throughout the FBC Mortgage Stadium.
Cashless: FBC Mortgage Stadium will be a fully cashless stadium beginning this year.
Newly Branded Bounce House Live at IOA Plaza: Get ready to immerse yourself in the pregame party at the newly branded Bounce House Live at IOA Plaza! Here'swhat's in store for you:
South Lawn: Experience the Corona Tailgate Concert Series and the NEW Yuengling Bar (21+).
North Lawn: Enjoy exciting activations, sponsored activities, and the Knightro’s Kids Club with inflatables, a Mini Football Field (select games), and more to keep the little ones entertained all season long!
Gameday Traditions – Save this for your Gameday Timeline leading up to kick-off :
Knight walk – Meet at the Charging Knight at Bounce House live on IOA plaza and Greet the Team – 2hours 15 mins before kick-off.
Tailgate Concert Series Presented by Corona – The Concert starts 2 hours – 90 mins before kick-off.
March to Victory – Join band, cheer, and Knightro - 90 Mins before Kick off on East Plaza Drive .
First Bounce Pregame Show – be in your seats for all the pregame Bounce 30 minutes before kick-off – you don’t want to miss this!
Team Run out – Happening at 4:07 mins left before kick-off.
Concessions:
The big new is that this season, fans can enjoy diverse offerings, including limited edition Big 12 Matchup collectible souvenir cups, Big 12-themed menus, Powerade SpaceU Themed Concession Stands, and more. New Concessions items include:
Huey Magoos Chicken Tenders + Fries (Stand 122)
Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream (Concourse)
Veggie Wraps @ Stadium Classics (Stand 108)
Cheetos Popcorn and Cheetos Pretzel @ Stadium Classics (Stand 108)
Churro Bites with Chocolate Sauce @ Senor Knightro’s (Stand 120)
Big 12 Eats @Knight Nation Grill (Stand 113) – Specialized food item showcasing the flavors of the Big 12.
New on the concourse:
Grab and Go (Snack/Drink) locations on the concourse for faster concession transactions to get you back to your seat quicker (located inside 126 and 104).
Filtered water bottle filling stations with touchless technology are located by the student section entrance and at both Frank Gay Cool Zone Locations.
Premium Areas:
Upgraded fencing in the North Field Cabana and Carl Black and Gold Cabana
New upgraded service/food and beverage call systems in Field Cabanas and Suites
New and upgraded décor in Carl Black & Gold Cabana
Upgraded food service stations and décor in 3MG Club
New and upgraded menu items in Suites, Field Cabanas, and 3MG Clu
