Titusville soul food restaurant Loyd Have Mercy, readies for August opening at Dezerland on I-Drive

International Drive is set to get a new soul food restaurant as Titusville's Loyd Have Mercy prepares to open at Dezerland Action Park.

Back in May, the popular family owned Loyd Have Mercy Restaurant located in Titusville, announced that it was opening an Orlando outpost at Dezerland on International Drive this summer.

The restaurant which has previously appeared in Food Networks Restaurant: Impossible with Chef Robert Irvine in 2000, in an episode that saw the show transform the restaurant with the help of local volunteers continues to go from strength to strength.

The new location at Dezerland is expected to open this month, with the restaurant currently hiring.

You can find the new Orlando location inside Dezerland, across from the go-karts near Cinemark, and for quick access its best to park in the Cinemark parking lot.

Customers to the new location can expect freshly made food, cooked to order every day, including homestyle Southern fare served in a laid-back environment. From seafood and barbecue to classic homestyle favorites.
