The weekend is finally here, and it's been an unusual week to say the least, we started the week looking forward to the holidays, and the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, yet by midweek we were preparing for a November hurricane!


Thankfully the storm is passed, the weather is looking awesome, and there is so much to do this weekend.


This weekend is all about the start of the holidays, as Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, and Walt Disney World all officially kick off the start of their holiday celebrations.


As aways as we head into the weekend, we've compiled our list of all the awesome things to do this weekend, Friday, November 11 to Sunday November 13, and yes, much of this weekends list is holiday related, but not all, we have EDC Orlando happening at Tinker Field all weekend, the Orland Beer Festival is on Saturday, and The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic happens today, and tomorrow.

Don’t miss Council of 101’s 36th annual Festival of Trees, Gifts Of The Season, at the Orlando Museum of Art.

Universal Orlando Holiday Celebrations

Anyone can “Ho-ho-ho” and “Fa-la-la” for the holidays. But if you want to scream, laugh and shout your jingle bells off, you’ve got to awesome up your holiday at Universal Orlando Resort, where we do the holidays big time. It’s the biggest, loudest, awesomest holiday celebration of the season.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will return this Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12, offering an outdoor festival featuring unlimited food tastings from the resort’s culinary team and wine, beer and other sips from around the world.



An annual tradition since 2010, the event makes its return to the fall this year. Set outside among the scenic ambiance of the resort, the event features live music, over 20+ food stations, 100+ beverage selections and immersive themed areas, such as the beer garden and the bubble lounge.

EDC Orlando

EDC Orlando’s massive reunion happens under the electric sky's of Tinker Field in downtown Orlando this weekend for three magical days and nights, Friday November 11 to Sunday November 13, 2022.


Over the next three days, an eclectic mix of more than 120 dance music acts will call Orlando home, with 4 stages, newly themed areas, art installations, carnival rides, pyrotechnics and more, there is nothing quite like the legendary Electric Daisy Carnival, especially here in Orlando!


From dance music’s strong roots in Florida to the explosive energy the city of Orlando brings, the iconic music festival will showcase many special moments as EDC celebrates more than 25 years of love, community and dance music culture Under the Electric Sky.

Hamilton

Now through November 20


Hamilton, the world-renowned musical has made a welcome return to downtown Orlando's Dr Phillips Center For the Performing Arts this week, where it has taken up residency through November 20 with matinee and evening performances six days per week.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival seems to have been on forever, but it ends November 19, so plan to visit this weekend!


Enjoy this iconic festival that serves up flavors from across six continents at more than 25 Global Marketplaces.


There are tons of activities for the entire family to enjoy, from Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt throughout the park, to jamming out to some classic tunes at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.


This weekend sees Kenny G performing Friday & Saturday, November 11-12, and Sugar Ray performing Sunday & Monday, November, 13 - 14.

Recurring weekly on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat until November 12


Presented by the Orlando Shakes, this beloved tale, featuring madcap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless love, and the true meaning of friendship. A sensitive pig named Wilbur and a wise spider named Charlotte spin a plan to ensure Wilbur doesn’t end up as pork chops on the farmer’s dinner plate! Based on the beloved book by E.B. White.


The play is being performed at the Orlando Shakes home in the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, tickets are available now.

The Santa Workshop Experience

Now through December 24, 2022.


Once again, ICON Park has been magically transformed into a winter wonderland, where families can partake in the annual tradition of taking holiday pictures together and the kiddos can meet the main man in person, Santa Claus!.


Each child that participates in The Santa Workshop Experience will even receive a free ride on the new Carousel on The Promenade, and they’ll also be provided a complimentary ride on The Wheel in a holiday-decorated capsule and access to the VIP no-wait line.

Island H2O Foam Party

Every Saturday & Sunday until November 27


Every Saturdays and Sundays in November, Island H2O Water Park will be cranking up the tunes and adding lots and lots of FOAM, think adding a full packet of laundry powder to your washer machine and then some!


From 12.00 pm until 5.00 pm, the kids will love dancing in an endless mountain of foam and bubbles while grooving to their favorite music. all included in admission!
