Running 48 select nights now through November 3, the world’s premier Halloween event is back for its 33rd year with 10 all-new movie-quality haunted houses and five spine-chilling scare zones inspired by cinematic greats and eerie original stories created by Universal Orlando’s Entertainment team.
And in-between the screams, enjoy an energetic live show, fuel up for the next round of scares with delicious food and beverage items inspired by the event’s haunts, shop the latest merchandise at the highly-themed Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, and so much more.
10 CHILLING HAUNTED HOUSES
As you brave this year’s lineup of 10 frightening haunted houses, you will need to silence your screams as they enter a terrifying post-apocalyptic world in “A Quiet Place,” where you will follow the Abbott family as they try to escape monstrous creatures with a sharp sense of hearing – ready to hunt down anyone who dares to make a sound.
You will then be transported to New York City in “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” where you will team up with Ghostbusters new and old to protect the city from a second Ice Age as the vengeful spirit of Garraka threatens to freeze everyone to death.
Then you travel deeper into a paranormal dimension of tortured souls and demonic entities as you follow in the footsteps of the Lambert family in “Insidious: The Further;”
You will then find yourself in the center of the ultimate battle between two unexpected alliances of classic female Universal Monsters, Saskia Van Helsing, Bride of Frankenstein, She-Wolf, and Anck-Su-Namun in “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines.”
Then get ready to scream your way through six original haunted houses created by the twisted minds of Universal Orlando’s award-winning Entertainment team, including:
“Slaughter Sinema 2,” where you will head to the Carey Drive-in for a B-movie horror marathon full of spaghetti westerns, grindhouse gore and more.
“Goblin’s Feast,” where hordes of bloodthirsty goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches welcome new visitors to their village for dinner;
“Major Sweets Candy Factory,” where guests join a field trip to a candy factory, only to realize the free samples have transformed the kids into candy-coated killers.
“The Museum: Deadly Exhibits,” which will transport you to the new folklore museum, The Rolling Stone, where there is evil lurking within, ready to destroy everything in its path;
“Monstrous: The Monsters of Latin America,” home to the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi, owl-faced witch La Lechuza and bone-ripping El Silbón who can’t wait to prey upon guests.
“Triplets of Terror,” where you will celebrate the Barmy triplet’s birthday and soon realize they celebrate by recreating their family’s horrifying murders.
FIVE TERRIFYING SCARE ZONES
This year’s event will introduce two new hosts of horror, SINIST3R and SURR3AL, who are reigning the streets of Universal Studios Florida and unleashing the horror that awaits within five scare zones.
As you navigate the park, you need to evade hordes of menacing scareactors stalking your every move as you choose a path between SINIST3R, the manifestation of visceral horror, or follow SURR3AL, the incarnation of unearthly terror in “Duality of Fear.”
Then brave the gloriously gory homemade torture devices ‘til they are put out of their misery in SINIST3R’s renaissance faire, “Torture Faire;”
You then get caught in an otherworldly hellscape in “Demon Queens,” where four merciless queens loyal to SURR3AL rule, before wandering onto private property in “Swamp of the Undead,” where you are surrounded by zombies borne from the bodies of other brave trespassers.
Survive this then its time to escape a terrifying gauntlet of Blumhouse characters in “Enter the Blumhouse,” including M3GAN, sinister sadists from The Purge and Black Phone, and more.

As the veil between this world and the other worldly thins and shadows lengthen, SeaWorld Orlando calls to those daring enough to venture beyond the familiar plane into a realm where reality blurs under the rising moon and nightmares come to life.
Now, it’s time to prepare for Howl-O-Scream, where your deepest fears await within four all-new haunted houses. Nearly escaping these houses, you’ll find bone-chilling horror woven through three new scare zones. Amidst the thrills and chills, find brief respite at two new interactive bars where the spirits of the night craft potent elixirs and eerie cuisine.
This year’s Howl-O-Scream event boasts a total of five haunted houses, seven scare zones, two shows, five interactive bars and more frights than ever before, promising an unforgettable journey into darkness. SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream, which received USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Award for the Best Theme Park Halloween Event in 2023, runs select nights from September 6 to November 2.
New Spine-Chilling Houses and Sinister Scare Zones
Guests will enter a high-stakes wager in "The Ultimate Gamble," where the casino's life-or-death stakes risk turning each step into a trap, making them ghostly patrons forever caught in the eternal game.
Dare to seek the remnants of promised serenity at the "Water’s Edge Wellness Center." Experience the horrors of eternal mystery and dark secrets within its haunted halls, where the living and dead collide. Should you escape this spectral house, venture to the sunken city in "Atlantis – Journey Below." Descend into an eerie underwater kingdom where anticipation thickens the air, and sinister sea creature whispers echo on every wave.
If the depths drive you back to land, "Farm 51" awaits to devour your soul. The air here is heavy with dread, broken only by the eerie rustling of cornfields, revealing you're not alone. Alongside these bone-chilling additions is the returning fan favorite, "D3LER1UM666 Laboratories."
Guests will also be lured to confront untold fears and spine-chilling specters in three new scare zones. A once-idyllic roadside haven turns nightmarish in "Paradise Palms," where guests may check in but might never check out of this weathered abode with a chilling history.
Survive this and face the madness of "Cannibal Harbor." This once-thriving port is now a place of primal fear, where cannibalistic mariners hunt fresh prey. Escaping their banquet doesn’t guarantee safety as the mystic forest beckons in "Seeds of the Coven." Test divine protections against witches’ curses in this ominous environment. Among these spooky nightmares are four returning favorites: "Blood Light District," "Toxic Turmoil," "Terrors of the Deep," and "Carnevil Pier."
Returning Fan Favorite Shows and Macabre Bars with Terrifying Treats
The Howl-O-Scream experience is further enhanced with SeaWorld’s darkly entertaining, heart-pounding shows like the haunting "Siren’s Song." Guests can enter the tale of the fabled and legendary sirens, who allure even the bravest adventurers.
Attendees can also be spellbound by an adrenaline-fueled musical showcase starring the notorious Jack the Ripper in the renowned "Monster Stomp."
No Howl-O-Scream adventure is complete without spectacular bites and drinks to fuel guests as they face their deepest fears. Quench your unearthly thirst and otherworldly hunger at the park’s newest bars, "Sacrificial Spirits" and "Space Gate 3."
Returning for the event is the "Longshoremen Tavern," where the longshoremen are dying to entertain those who enter. "Tormented" is also back to haunt, offering refuge from the wintry wasteland as you brave the horrors beneath the ice. Sinfully sweet treats await at "CarnEvil Curiosities," along with a variety of specialty frightening food offerings.
