Busch Gardens Tampa Bay recently announced that the theme parks oldest roller coaster, the iconic Scorpion was closing forever, with the final day of ride operation on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.
At the time of the announcement, the theme park invited guests to take a final ride on the Scorpion roller coaster before it takes its last run on the tracks after thrilling guests for over 44 years...
The good news forthrill-seekers is that the closure of the ride has been delayed (a little!) There's now even more time to enjoy the twists and turns of Scorpion, with the closure date extended to Sunday, 9/8!
