The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle Show closing for Extended Refurbishment at Universal Orlando

Hot on the heels of the news today, Tuesday, April 11 from Universal Orlando Resort, that Poseidon’s Fury in The Lost Continent at Universal’s Islands of Adventure will be permanently closing on May 9, news has emerged that The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure will be closing for an extended period of time.

The show will have its last performance on May 9, the same day that Poseidon’s Fury closes permanently.

Universal Orlando have only said that the show is closing for for “future show enhancements.”

This could be exciting news, or it could mean the end of The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, only time will tell...

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is a dazzling spectacle of music and lights.

On selected nights, watch from Hogsmeade village as projections are cast against the majestic backdrop of the castle. Embrace your Hogwarts pride as the four houses are celebrated in stunning light and sound. It's a beautiful way to end your day at Universal's Islands Of Adventure, but for now, only until May 9!
