The new interactive Castaway Falls opens at Adventure Island water park in Tampa

Adventure Island’s newest attraction Castaway Falls featuring over 100 interactive elements is now open - it’s the ideal spot for kids of all ages!

Adventure Island has opened the water park’s newest and highly anticipated attraction, Castaway Falls, which promises guests an unforgettable experience with over 100 interactive elements, including two massive tipping buckets that unleash a torrential downpour of more than 1,300 gallons of water combined.

Set within a tropical paradise, Castaway Falls invites guests of all ages to immerse themselves in a watery world of excitement. Castaway Falls is the centerpiece of Adventure Island's comprehensive revitalization, which includes recent additions such as Shaka-Laka Shores, Rapids Racer, Wahoo Remix slides, and the transformed Captain Pete's and Hang Ten Tiki Bar.

These enhancements create a refreshed atmosphere, complete with new lounging areas and cabanas, providing visitors with the ultimate tropical retreat.

Located right across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island is Tampa Bay’s premier water park, featuring a combination of exhilarating water slides and tropical, tranquil surroundings.

At Tampa’s Island Paradise, thrilling slides await, such as Rapids Racer, Wahoo Remix, Solar Vortex, Vanish Point, Caribbean Corkscrew and Colossal Curl, waterfalls, a 17,000-square-foot wave pool, a children’s splash and play zone, Shaka-Laka Shores, and other family attractions including the all-new Castaway Falls.
