Touch-a-Truck will give children the opportunity to learn more about their favorite trucks and vehicles they see daily.
The City of Maitland has a brand new family activity to put on your calendar!
The Maitland Public Works Department will host a touch-a-truck event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in Independence Square with lots of really big and unique trucks, heavy equipment, and emergency vehicles.
Bring the kids for a fun, up-close look at the machines that make the city work. Learn how the Public Works Department manages everything from public utilities and stormwater cleanup to grounds maintenance and more.
Enjoy bounce houses, games and prizes, live music, food and more.
This event will coincide with Maitland's weekly Farmer's Market on Independence Lane, and best of all, admission is free.
