Florida's largest annual convention of any kind, SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo is celebrating its 50th year in 2024 with over 200.000 visitors expected to attend this highly anticipated spring event.
From its humble beginnings in 1974 as a fly-in for sport aviation enthusiasts, the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo has grown into one of the largest and most successful aviation events in the world.
The event is Florida’s largest annual convention of any kind, and each year over 200,000 visitors flock to Lakeland for what has become known as Aviation’s Season Opener or Spring Break for Pilots.
2024 is the 50th anniversary of the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, with organisers planning a memorable anniversary year when the expo returns on April 9 – April 14, 2024.
Highlights include an unforgettable Opening Day Concert with Trace Adkins and special guest Sara Evans on Tuesday, April 9.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, get ready to soar into an evening of country tunes and aviation magic when country music legends Trace Adkins and Sara Evans take the stage on the Warbird Ramp at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo’s 50th Fly-In Celebration!
This incredible kickoff celebration for SUN ‘n FUN’s 50th Fly-In is INCLUDED with SUN ‘n FUN daily admission, priced at $45 per person.
While this years lineup has yet to be revealed, the expo will see the debut of the Ghost Squadron, with visitors seeing the Mig 29 at SUN ‘n FUN for the very first time.
