The legendary Red White & Boom returns to Altamonte Springs with new hours, and an emphasis on local talent

The City of Altamonte Springs is pulling out all the stops for the most spectacular party of the season. Red Hot & Boom is celebrating 27 years of legendary live music, food, family, friends and firework-filled fun.


This annual FREE gathering on July 3, has new hours this year, running from 5 pm - 10 pm, and the music has a strong local flavor, highlighting mostly local talent rather than national headliners.


One thing remains the same though, Red Hot & Boom is one of the best night of the summer, with tens of thousands of Central Floridians enjoying unforgettable performances, and a jaw-dropping fireworks show.



This year's Red, Hot & Boom takes place onWednesday, July 3 from 5 to 10 p.m., with the fireworks scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting).


2024 Artist Lineup


Relic

A five-piece southern rock/classic rock/soul group from Orlando, Florida, Relic has gained praise in the Villages after performances at Brownwood Paddock Square, Spanish Springs and Sawgrass Grove. They are in the running for “Best Cover Band” and “Best Rock Act” by Orlando Weekly.


Voodoo Moonshine

“Bluesy groove rock band” Voodoo Moonshine has brought their unique energy to music lovers across the world. Although formed in Memphis, Tennessee, the group has achieved great success in Europe after the release of their debut album “Decade of Chaos.” The four-piece band has been voted “Number One Band” seven times in England, six times in Japan and become one of the top three bands requested in Dublin, Ireland. 


The Intracoastals

Originating in New Smyrna Beach, the Intracoastals are a high energy beach-rock-reggae band. The four-member group has performed at places such as the Bag A Donut Festival, Dunedin Brewery and Terra Fermata Tiki Bar. The group is on a mission to spread their high-energy vibe everywhere they go.


No Lonely Hearts

An emerging boy band out of Orlando (the boy band capital of the world), No Lonely Hearts takes inspiration from groups such as NSYNC, New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys. The Red Hot & Boom veterans opened for fellow boy band 98 Degrees during their 2023 tour and hope to continue on their own tour in 2024. 


Blue Stone Circle

Blue Stone Circle is an Orlando-based band that knows how to get a crowd to their feet. The group isn’t confined to a single musical category and is known to have played a variety of hits and crowd favorites from across all genres and decades. The five-piece band has shared the stage with notable acts such as *NYSNC, Huey Lewis and Backstreet Boys. 


Red White & Boom in Altamonte Springs

Red Hot & Boom is a free event, but new for 2024, is a new VIP option - The Red Hot & Boom Beer Garden is the ultimate destination on July 3! Vibe out and relax while enjoying a variety of beer options, including locally brewed craft beer, wine and spirits.


$50 admission includes one free beer or wine, private area access in the Cranes Roost Park Plaza from 5 to 10 p.m., covered and open seating, TVs to view the stage show and yard games.


Additional drinks and food are available for purchase. Open to ages 21 and up. Each patron must present a valid photo ID. Patrons will receive an entry wristband. Space is limited.

Event parking is available at the Altamonte Mall and surrounding areas.


After the fireworks are over, many streets will become one-way to help facilitate the ride home. In general, people driving to the event should try to park in the direction they need to go when it is time to leave.
