Sally Michel: Abstracting Tonalism is the first museum retrospective in over 20 years of Sally Michel's Modernist landscapes and figurations from the 1930s - 1990s. Lng overlooked in traditional Art Historical discourse, This exhibition takes place at the Mennello Museum of American Art .

Torn Apart at Orlando Museum Of Art brings together for the first time Andrew Krivinen"s extensive collection of punk graphics and ephemera, Malcolm Garrett, MBE's collection of Vivienne Westwood garments and Sheila Rock's photography. Torn Apart is recognized as one of the most comprehensive punk exhibitions to date.

J. Grant Brittain is one of the most widely recognized and influential skateboard photographers on the planet. This exhibit at Orlando Museum Of Art is the acclaimed photographer's very first museum exhibition retrospective and a chance to see this collection of works from the 1980's which has inspired so many generations.

This year, Watermark commemorates three decades of dedicated service, championing the interests of the LGBTQ+ community throughout Florida. Cover Story: Celebrating Watermark’s 30 Years at Orange County Regional History Center features a retrospective of 30 of the publication’s most impactful covers, which illustrate the profound journey of LGBTQ+ history over the past three decades.

Step into a world of childhood nostalgia at Orlando Museum of Art with Golden Legacy: Original Art from 80 Years of Golden Books. This exhibition showcases over sixty original illustrations from the Random House archives, featuring timeless classics like The Poky Little Puppy, Tootle, Home for a Bunny, The Color Kittens, I Can Fly, and so many more!

Bok Tower Gardens and master stone balancer Adam Conard, also known as the artist ZOTO, will present the first full campus exhibition of stone balances. The exhibition Stories in Stone features 20 mind-bending stone balances housed in beautiful areas of the gardens.

This October, prepare for a swashbuckling Halloween experience like no other as the all new “Pirates of the Haunted Seas” event invades SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. This spine-chilling event promises a treasure trove of thrills for the entire family. Families with young buccaneers are invited to embark on a thrilling adventure of scales and scares throughout the aquarium, featuring meet-and-greets with Pirate Captain Sebastian, trick-or-treating opportunities, and educational stations that offer a glimpse into pirate lore and nautical history. For adults looking for a thrilling, and hilarious, night out — Teatro Martini’s Vaudeville Variety Revue is the place to be. The Vegas-inspired vaudeville, cabaret show is hosting its annual Halloween Revue from Oct. 3 to Nov. 2. Teatro Martini’s Vaudeville Variety Revue showcases some of the world’s top performers in an exciting and interactive dinner show – featuring lyrical pole dancers, comedians, magicians, jugglers and singers.

One of the best spooky season scare experiences in Central Florida is a horrifying journey into A Petrified Forest! This terrifying independent outdoor scare trail which is located in the Altamonte Springs area of Orlando is legendary around these parts, and this year features three new trails and more! A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres.

The Haunting of River Ranch, located at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo takes guests on new experiences and calls upon the spirits for a witching good time. If you go down to the woods this spooky season you're in for a horrific surprise... Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City is spread across 20 acres in a remote corner of Pasco County. The scariest of horror parks, Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park offers five haunted houses, a zombie paintball fight, plus monsters who can and will grab you!


Howl-O-Scream At SeaWorld Orlando

Howl-O-Scream Orlando is back and this year promises 4 years of spine-tingling fear. Brace yourself for an even more chilling experience with more to SEA than years before- more screams, more terror, more haunts. The after-hours ticketed event, Howl-O-Scream ncludes 4 new haunted house, 3 new scare zones, 2 new themed bars and more. These fearsome additions join returning favorites for a total of five houses, seven scare zones, and five bars. The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a miniature horror theme park in Plant City, Florida. The attraction, also known as the i4 Fear Park, contains multiple haunted houses (aka haunted trails), escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors. Each event either features two or three open trails with a different theme or story for each session that the haunt is open. A haunted hayride was also added to the list of offerings in 2023.

On select nights from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, Pirates Dinner Adventure will host “Vampirates: The Haunting Search for Neptune’s Treasure”, a Halloween-themed dinner show suitable for ghouls and goblins of all ages.

The Community United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years, during the month of October, thousands of people pass through their patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort for our Student Ministry, but it also serves as an outreach for the community. Granny Pumpkin talks and sings with children's groups visiting our campus, sharing with them the story of salvation, while the children sit among the bales of hay and pumpkins.

Here at Hagerty Farms Pumpkin Patch, lovated at Oviedo High School, you'll discover pumpkins, gourds, more pumpkins and all pumpkins, just pumpkins of all kinds! This is a great spot for seasonal family pictures too.

The daytime event that is included with park admission is taking place over three weekends in October, from Oct. 12 through 27, 2024. Meet Gravedigger, Florida Bigfoot and Skunk Ape, and more. There is so much for all the family to enjoy this year at Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins, including a children’s Halloween costume parade with treat bags for all kids who participate. Plus, the entire family will enjoy fun shows, a live DJ, specialty vendors, games, photo-ops, candy giveaways, and more.

With most special events presented on weekends, your family will be goblin’ up the sweet treats and seasonal celebrations. There’s fun for everyone with live shows, character meet-and-greets, Halloween decor and costume contests. A spooktacular, Halloween-themed drone show will be presented four times during the celebration, with hundreds of choreographed drones taking to the skies above the 65-acre resort.

The Community United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years, during the month of October, thousands of people pass through their patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort for our Student Ministry, but it also serves as an outreach for the community. Granny Pumpkin talks and sings with children's groups visiting our campus, sharing with them the story of salvation, while the children sit among the bales of hay and pumpkins.

There is so much for all the family to enjoy this year at Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins, including a children’s Halloween costume parade with treat bags for all kids who participate. Plus, the entire family will enjoy fun shows, a live DJ, specialty vendors, games, photo-ops, candy giveaways, and more.

With most special events presented on weekends, your family will be goblin’ up the sweet treats and seasonal celebrations.
