Out of Order | Let Down is a two-person exhibition by Kristen Letts Kovak and Grace Mikell Ramsey at UCF Art Gallery. This exhibition explores complex visual language of abstraction, naturalism and fantasy to engage in dialogue on the nuances of female perseverance. Through visual storytelling, the two artists reflect and represent ongoing issues of female bodies, gender roles, societal expectations and biases. Mandi Jo is an actor and singer trained at the UCF Conservatory of Theatre who has traveled the world performing. Mandi Jo was a youth artist at the Bangkok Opera and the Winner of the Grady-Rayam Prize in sacred music. Notable credits include the Asia Premiere of The Secret Silk (Schwartz) and the World Premiere of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World. Mandi Jo is also the executive director of Black Theatre Girl Magic, a non profit on a mission to create a more just and equitable Theatre industry for Black and Brown women.

Invasions are welcome in Tampa Bay! Gasparilla Pirate Fest returns every January, bringing the spirit of pirates past and glittering treasures for visitors and locals to plunder. The 4.5-mile parade route, led by the captain and his Ye Mystic Krewe, is followed by over a hundred floats winding through historic Bayshore Blvd and downtown Tampa, creating the third-largest paradein the United States.

Three Brazilian soccer clubs — São Paulo FC, Atlético Mineiro and Cruzeiro — will visit Florida in January as part of the FC Series. The event, which commemorates its 10-year anniversary in 2025, will hearken back to its Florida Cup roots with four exhibition matches in the state. The lineup includes São Paulo FC’s return to Florida and the first edition of Superclássico Mineiro between Atlético and Cruzeiro to be played in the U.S., as well as a showdown between Atlético and Orlando City SC, fresh off its 2024 MLS playoff run.

This event is a fundraiser for the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club. This is the largest car show in Central Florida with over 300 of the best classic and modern vehicles.
