Visiting Walt Disney World Resort can be very expensive, but did you know you can experience the magic of the legendary Walt Disney World fireworks without every having spend a dime?
It's true, and we've created this list of places where you can view the fireworks without having to enter the parks to help you enjoy an evening at Walt Disney World that is inexpensive, magical, and crowd free!
While all the locations are accessible, and in non restricted areas, Walt Disney World may restrict access during busy times of the year, including 4th of July, Christmas and New Year's Eve. Also bear in mind that Walt Disney World may change its policies at any time without warning.

Catch The Magic Kingdom Nighttime Spectacular
You can easily watch the nightly nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After from outside Magic Kingdom for FREE!
Oh, and don't worry about not getting a good view, no, you won't get to see them up close, but you will still enjoy an incredible view of the fireworks spectacular lghting up the night sky without having to step foot in Magic Kingdom.
Locations to watch the nighttime spectacular include:
Ticket and Transportation Center
This is a great spot, its convenient location across the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom making it an excellent place for watching fireworks outside the parks, and you can get back quickly to your car or resort before the crowds leave the park, and in addition to seeing the fireworks for free, not having to wait to leave Magic Kingdom is priceless!
Another popular location is outside the resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort
From within the Grand Floridian you can enjoy cocktails at the Enchanted Rose Lounge on the second floor, and view the fireworks as you relax and enjoy the atmosphere, but there are only a handful of tables that have a view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
You have to get to the lounge very early to get one of these tables, and it's first come first served.
You can reserve a dinner spot at Narcoossee’s overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon, with select tables enjoying a view of the fireworks. plus all guests are welcome to view the fireworks from the restaurants wraparound deck attached to the building, but note Narcoossee's is not cheap, but never fear because at the Grand Floridian the best views of the fireworks are FREE!
Head to the Marina at the rear of the resort for a great view of the nighttime spectacular.
Disney's Contemporary Resort
Head inside and watch from the free observation deck located on the 4th floor concourse, this is a prime viewing spot, and can get busy, so you can do as many folks do, and watch from the outer stairwells of the hotel, from here you get a great view too.
If want to enjoy a meal as you watch the fireworks, you can elevate your experience and book a table at the California Grill, which offers firework views from select tables and its own beautiful observation deck atop the Contemporary, just don't expect this option to be cheap!
Disney's Polynesian Resort
One of the best and most relaxing ways to view the nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom is to grab a drink to go and head to the beach area for straight on, perfect viewing spot of the fireworks across Seven Seas Lagoon.
You get to chill on the sand, watching the free show while sipping on a drink, you could even bring some snacks!
Widerness Lodge Water Taxi
If you can time it right, a fab way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom's nighttime spectacular is on the free water taxi boat from Fort Wilderness.
Catch the ferry boat from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom just before the fireworks start, you’ll get an incredible view of the fireworks from the water, the same view that private cruise guests get, and much cheaper, heck you can't get cheaper than FREE!
Seven Seas Lagoon Ferry Boat
Another option is to catch the fireworks from the free Ferryboat that travels between Ticket and Transportation Center and Magic Kingdom, if you time it right, it is possible to get a spectacular view of the fireworks from the ferryboat as it crosses back and forth!
Watch The Thrilling Fireworks at EPCOT
You can catch the regular nightly performance of the EPCOT Forever nighttime fireworks spectacular for FREE at the amazing Disney's Boardwalk Resort Area.
EPCOT Forever is a temporary fireworks show until EPCOT's new nighttime spectacular debuts late 2023.
The Boardwalk is perfect for a night out, enjoying great food and drink options while enjoying the freee nightly entertainment on the boardwalk area around the resort.
Bridge Between Boardwalk And Swan & Dolphin Resorts
One of the best places to see the Epcot firework’s show outside of the parks is on the bridge between the Boardwalk and the Swan and Dolphin hotel. From here you can catch a glimpse of the Magic Kingdoms fireworks too!
Caribbean Beach Resort
Not the best view, but a very relaxing option, head to the beaches for a free lounger or if you're lucky a swing seat and enjoy the atmosphere. While you will only catch the highest of the fireworks, you will get to hear them while enjoying a drink in beautiful surroundings!
Atlantic Music Hall
For the best view of the fireworks, watch from outside the Atlantic Dance Hall on the Boardwalk, from here the view is not bad at all, and you can go dancing afterwards!
Another free nighttime show you can't afford to miss at Walt Disney World is the enchanting Electrical Water Pageant, while it does not include fireworks, it's a Disney Classic that's been around since the resort opened back in 1971.
The Enchanting Electrical Water Pageant
Don't miss the FREE Electrical Water Pagent, a true Walt Disney World classic attraction that has been performed each night on the Seven Seas Lagoon in front of Magic Kingdom since 1971.
A bright green sea monster leads an enchanting, twinkling musical pageant you can see and hear from locations along the shore. The procession includes a stirring and inspirational medley of patriotic songs while stars and stripes float along the shimmering water.
