Don’t miss Council of 101’s 38th annual Festival of Trees, Let the Joy of the Season Shine, November 16-24, 2024, at the Orlando Museum of Art, inviting guests to enter a radiant, glowing wonderland to kick off the Christmas season. The 30th Annual Nights of Lights dazzles with more than three million lights adorning every corner of the historic district for two months. This award-winning holiday lights display runs from Saturday, November 23, 2024, to January 26, 2025, in historic St. Augustine. During the seasonal display, businesses downtown stay open later, letting you dine with a view of the lights and browse the shops in the decorated buildings. The trains and trolleys offer special seasonal tours that take you through the most lit up areas, and there are also a variety of specialty tours — everything from walking to electric cart tours, and even tours to see the lights from the water and from the air.

The Enchanted Forest of Trees opens on November 23 and runs through January 3 for viewing. Come and see more than 70 trees uniquely decorated by local organizations, businesses, and families on display at Victory Pointe. Check out the trees during the day and after dark to get the full effect!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… it’s Jingle Eve! Get ready for the BEST party of the year for more than 20 years running. Jingle Eve is the annual kickoff of the Orlando holiday season.
Spanning stretches of Orange Avenue and Virginia Drive, as well as Gaston Edwards Park, families and adults alike find no shortage of yuletide festivities. From beer gardens to music, local artisans, food trucks, a children’s holiday village, and special event promotions by Ivanhoe Village retailers, restaurants, and bars. The evening culminates with fireworks displayed high above the shores of Lake Ivanhoe.

An Orlando holiday tradition, the raising of the Jack Kazanzas Star 50 feet over Orange Avenue will take place the morning of Sunday, November 24 at 7 am. The more than 50-year tradition of raising the 600-pound golden star started in the 1950s. Since then, the Star has come to symbolize the start of the holiday season in downtown Orlando.

Enjoy the wonder of epic light luminaria walls inspired by the holiday festivals of Europe. Be inspired by the illumination of Leu Gardens’ giant oaks with hundreds of thousands of brilliant lights. Explore a forest of trees that illuminate with holiday greetings from around the world. Snap some photos in a 70’ long tunnel of elegant garland a glistening ornaments. Experience the work of Leu Gardens’ horticultural artisans with a garden of white, featuring a swan topiary.
