Much colder, drier air returns to Central Florida on Thursday into the weekend, forcing the area's water parks to close for two days.

Just as we were enjoying warmer weather, it's time to dig out the jumpers again as a new cold front approaches Central Florida.
The forcast colder weather has forced the areas water parks to close with Walt DIsney World closing Blizzard Beach, Universal Orlando closing Volcano Bay, and SeaWorld Orlando closing Aquatica.
All three major water parks will be closed on Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21, 2025.

So how cold will it be? On Thursday, we can expect below-normal temperatures sweeping in, with highs only reaching the low 70s. Thursday night will feel very cold, with lows in the 40s in Orlando.
Friday morning we will wake up northerly winds making already low temps feel even colder, with wind chills in the 30s to low 40s early Friday morning. Friday daytime we can expect highs only reaching the 60s. here in Orlando
As of right now all three water parks are scheduled to reopen on Saturday, February 22, however as we head into the weekend we will still be experiencing below average temperatures, although we should expect a slight warm-up to daytome highs of the low 70s.
