While the east coast and in particular Volusia County has been hit hard by Hurricane Nicole, thankfully the Central Florida tourism corridor has escaped any significant damage from the storm and theme parks and attractions throughout Orlando and Kissimmee have began to reopen their doors to guests from around the world.
Walt Disney World has began a phased reopening with all of its four theme parks reopening today, plus both LEGOLAND Florida and Peppa Pig Theme Park reopen at 12.00 pm today.
Universal Orlando are carrying out inspections and have not made a decision as of yet, while SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay made the decision yesterday to remain closed until Friday, November 11.
The smaller attractions are also getting ready to reopen with both of Fun Spot America's locations, in Orlando and Kissimmee are open from 2.00 pm today.
Gatorland and Wild Florida have announced that they will stay closed today and reopen tomorrow, November 11.
Over at ICON Park on International Drive, both The Wheel and The Carousel will remain closed today., although the restaurants, bars and indoor attractions are open.
If you are heading out to a theme park or attraction today, please be safe, and watch out for any debris or flooding on the roads.
