The annual Pioneer Day celebrates Osceola County’s first residents and the pioneering spirit of the late 19th century, hosted at the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek in Kissimmee.
As Osceola History celebrates its 75th Anniversary, join them for the 32nd Pioneer Day! A FREE event that bring Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek alive!!!
On Saturday, November 2, historical interpreters will fill the buildings and walk the streets. Not one, but two bands will bring the song and dance to the Train Depot and the Lanier homestead.
Animals will walk about the property throughout the day, a petting zone will be on site and pony rides for the kids to hop on and make memories!. Vendors will fill the streets with goodies to purchase!
There will be a craft zone for the kids to occupy themselves and the opportunity to make butter the ole fashioned way! There will also be a food zone with many options to choose from.
Mark your calendars for a day of time traveling back to the 1800s in Pioneer Village on November 2 this year!
As visitors explore the Pioneer Village they will learn how Florida Seminoles and early pioneer families lived off the land long before electricity and air conditioning.
