Things can only get better for Southwest as the airline canceled more than one hundred out of Orlando International Airport Thursday, with thousands more across the country.
It's been a flight-mare Christmas for tens of thousands of passengers across the country travelling with Southwest Airlines, with thousands of flights cancelled every day, and travellers stranded throughout the country, including here in Orlando, where we have seen visitors forced to buy last-minute and expensive flights on other airlines, book hotel stays, or rent vehicles and continue their journey on the road.
Or worse still, there has been travellers with nowhere to sleep and no way of getting home.
Today, Thursday, cancellations caused misery for thousands more passengers with over 110 flights cancelled from Orlando International Airport alone!
BUT, the airline have said that from tomorrow, Friday, December 30, that it plans to resume normal operations with "minimal disruptions."
Hopefully this means that passengers can get home for New Year's Eve!
