SeaWorld Orlando is reopening Friday after thankfully receiving no major damage as Hurricane ilton passed over Orlando.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, SeaWorld Orlando announced that it was to close ahead of a potentially devastating hit from Hurricane Milton.
Due to the storm, SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove all remained closed yesterday, Wednesday, Oct. 9 and today, Thursday, Oct. 10
With Hurricane Milton passing over Orlando last night into this morning, SeaWorld has been evaluating the parks, and the great news is that all three attractions will reopen on Friday!
The only exceptions is the daytime kid-friendly Spooktacular and the after-hours ticketed Howl-O-Scream events which are cancelled on Friday.
SeaWorld Orlando will be OPEN on Friday, October 11. Spooktacular and Howl-O-Scream events are cancelled for Friday.
Aquatica Orlando will be OPEN on Friday, October 11.
Discovery Cove will be OPEN on Friday, October 11.
SeaWorld commented, " We are grateful for our dedicated team of animal care experts, including veterinarians, who remained onsite during the storm to monitor the animals, and we appreciate our ambassadors who are onsite to help ensure our park is ready to welcome you. Guests are encouraged to continue to check back here and follow our social media channels for the latest updates.
