Saddle up for the 75th Annual Cracker Day Rodeo in DeLand

Grab your boots and hat for a fun-filled family Rodeo day at the 75th Annual Cracker Day Rodeo at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 East New York Avenue, DeLand.

Organized by the Volusia County Cattlemen’s Association, this year's Cracker Day Rodeo takes place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 8.30 am - 5 pm.

From thrilling rodeo competitions to spirited cattle herding demonstrations, the event offers something for everyone to enjoy.

At the heart of Cracker Day are the rodeo competitions, where skilled riders showcase their prowess in events such as bull riding, barrel racing, and calf roping. Spectators cheer on their favorite competitors as they demonstrate bravery and agility in the arena, embodying the spirit of the American cowboy.

In addition to the rodeo, Cracker Day features captivating cattle herding demonstrations that offer insight into the traditional methods of ranching in Volusia County. Spectators witness skilled cowboys and cowgirls working alongside their trusty horses to move cattle with precision and finesse, highlighting the timeless art of horsemanship.

Cracker Day is more than just a rodeo; it’s a family-friendly affair that welcomes people of all ages to experience the rich heritage of Volusia County. Children delight in pony rides, petting zoos, and face painting, while adults savor delicious barbecue and browse vendor booths offering handcrafted goods and local products.

Plus, with each paid admission, grab a plate of the best BBQ in the south prepared by your very own Volusia County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, and enjoy an exciting day of rodeo with family and friends!

Cracker Day is held on the last Saturday in April.  This is the time of year when cattlemen are finishing their spring duties which include processing calves.

Admission to this year's event is $25 for Adults 13+, $10 for Kids 6-12, and it's free for kids 5 and under.

Admission includes BBQ lunch and free parking!!
