Daytona Freedom Festival

June 29

Join the City of Daytona Beach in celebrating Fourth of July on Saturday, June 29 at the Freedom Festival on Manatee Island at the Riverfront Esplanade. Activities will begin with a veteran's ceremony at 10 a.m. followed by family-friendly games, food trucks and music. Free meals will be provided to all veterans. 



Daytona Tortugas Baseball
July 3

Taking in America’s pastime is a great way to celebrate America’s birthday, and Daytona Beach can definitely accommodate. With the St. Lucie Mets visiting town to play the Daytona Tortugas on Wednesday, July 3, holiday revelers can take in a great ballgame, buy some peanuts and Cracker Jacks, and maybe even enjoy a favorite cold beverage or two to cool things off.


And to mark the occasion in an all-American way, fireworks will light up the skies over Jackie Robinson Ballpark after the final out is in the books.


Daytona Beach Bandshell

Alter Eagles (Eagles Tribute) at Daytona Beach Bandshell
July 4

Having spent more than a decade dazzling audiences nationwide with their tribute to the all-time best-selling band in North America, The Alter Eagles have honed their skills playing full Eagles sets over the course of more than 1,000 live shows.


And during a special July 4 show on Thursday night at 7:15 p.m. at the Daytona Beach Bandshell, they’ll Take It To the Limit one more time — this time for America’s birthday on the Daytona Beach oceanfront.


As an explosive bonus, a Fourth of July fireworks show will follow the performance.


U.S. Bee Gees (Bee Gee Tribute) at Daytona Beach Bandshell
July 5

The U.S. Bee Gees will perform a Bee Gee tribute on Friday, July 5, part of the Sounds of the Summer Concert Series, an annual free summer concert series that takes place on Friday nights at the world’s most famous beach’s historic Daytona Beach Bandshell.


Southern Cross & Bad Moon Rising at Daytona Beach Bandshell
July 6

On Saturday night, July 6, at the Bandshell, Southern Cross and Bad Moon Rising will perform Crosby Stills Nash & Young and Creedence Clearwater Revival Tributes. Located on the North end of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, the free concerts at Daytona Beach Bandshell are an experience both locals and visitors alike look forward to every summer.


4th of July Fireworks
July 4

Fireworks and the Fourth of July go hand in hand, and in Daytona Beach, the night skies over the coastline certainly won’t disappoint. In addition to aforementioned fireworks shows at the Daytona Beach Bandshell and the Daytona Tortugas game, the area will host even more pyrotechnics displays throughout the community.


The City of Ormond Beach will launch their fireworks display on Thursday, July 4th at 9:30 p.m. with the best viewing spots being Rockefeller Gardens, City Hall Plaza and Fortunato Park. The annual community celebration will begin earlier at 6 p.m. with live music, food and games for the children.


Port Orange will have a July 4th festival at City Center Park from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. that will also include fireworks.
