Irish based international chain Primark, a value fashion, home and beauty retailer has opened its first store in Central Florida within The Florida Mall in Orlando on Thursday, August 29.
We first revealed back in February 2023 that Irish based international retailer Primark were planning to open a store at The Florida Mall in Orlando, and the new store is now open!
Primark officially opened the doors to the new store at 11 am on Thursday, August 29.
The store welcomed over 1500 excited Orlando shoppers to catch a first look at more than 36,200 square feet of retail selling space, featuring the latest fashion trends and everyday essentials for the whole family, all at affordable prices US shoppers cannot get enough of.
The impressive two-story store has an entire floor dedicated to its Disney fans, with locals and visitors able to experience an extensive offering of Disney and Marvel licensed collections.
One popular collection is Walt Disney Animation Studios' "The Lion King," in celebration of the animated film's 30th anniversary, ahead of the upcoming “Mufasa: The Lion King”
“Primark has developed a long-standing collaboration with Disney over the last 11 years,’” said Sarah Jackson, Global Director of License at Primark. “Today we are excited to take the next step in our collaboration and bring Orlando shoppers Disney and Marvel-inspired collections at the prices that Primark is known and loved for. The dedication of an entire Disney and Marvel floor is a first for Primark, delivering an unparalleled experience, and is certain to be a huge hit with our customers.”
The new store features Disney collections including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.
Collections featuring this summer’s blockbuster film, Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine are also available at the store. Returning to Primark stores is also the popular Disney's Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring collection, Primark’s popular collection that has a keen fashion focus.
A variety of popular plush toys in iconic Disney and Marvel characters will be available such as Dumbo, Simba, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Spider-Man, Hulk and more.
Throughout the 11-year relationship, Primark has offered exclusive items across multiple categories such as apparel, accessories, beauty, home, stationery and more, which differentiates the international retailer from others.

Following its recent store opening at Tysons Corner Center in Tysons, Virginia, the new store opening at The Florida Mall brings the Ireland-based retailer to 26 stores in the US across 10 states and 450 stores globally.
With tee shirts from $4 and denim starting from $10, shoppers can expect the same great quality at amazing prices they've come to expect from Primark's US stores.
To celebrate the new store opening, Primark will host a series of family-fun events to kick off opening weekend.
