The home of delicious Chicago street food, Portillo's has just opened it's second Central Florida location in Kissimmee.
Bun-believable news from Kissimmee today, Tuesday, January 10, as Portillo's opened its second Central Florida location, and guests can now cake shake their way in for Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, cheese fries, fresh salads and famous chocolate cake!
To commemorate the grand opening of the new restaurant, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 10 a.m. to officially open the restaurant
Also this morning, when Portillo's opens a new location, they take the time to pour into the community and select non-profits from the area to partner with, and at this mornings grand opening, representatives from Education Foundation of Osceola County were in attendance to accept a check for $5,000 from Portillo's.
The fast-casual restaurant, located in Kissimmee at 8041 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, is Portillo’s second Central Florida location, joining Portillo's location at The Village at O-Town West at 7715 Palm Parkway, Orlando.
The new Kissimmee location is directly across the street from the Margaritaville Resort, as well as being only minutes from Walt Disney World.
Just like the Orlando location, the restaurant has a garage-themed interior and an outdoor patio area.
The new 7,800-square-foot restaurant included seating for just shy of 300 guests and features a double drive-thru lane.
The restaurants hours are: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 am - 10:30 pm, with Friday and Saturday, 10:30 am - 11:00 pm.
