The family-owned Planet Obstacle Adventure Park located in Lake Mary is expanding, opening a massive new location in Davenport later this year.
Located just north of Orlando at 1150 Emma Oaks Trail, # 100 in Lake Mary, Planet Obstacle Adventure Park is the" World’s Largest Indoor Obstacle Park." Created by two Cirque du Soleil veterans in 2017, the family-owned 50,000-square-foot park provides a day full of unique, challenging and safe courses for all ages to enjoy healthy exercise, to learn about fitness and to connect with others.
Planet Obstacle is huge, and attractions include rock climbing walls, a ninja warrior course, inflatable obstacle courses, a kids' ninja course, bumper cars, trampolines, a zip line, bungee jumping and much more.
They also offer dedicated spaces for birthday parties (voted best birthdays 6 years in a row) and team-building events, ensuring that we provide the best possible experiences for all our visitors.
Plus, an on-site café offers choice of wine, beer and soft drinks with hot and cold snacks.
The latest news from Planet Obstacle Adventure Park is that they are opening a brand new 40,000 square feet park in Davenport, which is set to the public in mid-October.
Andrei Roublev, the General Manager of Planet Obstacle Adventure Park commented, "True to our business model, we aim to create the largest indoor obstacle parks, packed with the most attractions and featuring the highest ceilings. With a background rooted in the circus, Andrei's father and uncle founded Planet Obstacle Adventure Park in 2017, bringing years of experience working for Cirque du Soleil to the business.
Safety is the top priority of the family, particularly given the challenges of aerial activities. They personally oversee every aspect of construction and maintenance, building everything by hand to ensure the highest standards are met.
Andri contimed, "As a family-run business, we are proud of our growth and excited about our expansion. The new Davenport location is expected to create over 40-55 jobs and will be the only adventure park of its kind in the area, providing local families with a unique and fun experience."
