Picking your own fruit is so much fun, and at Cherrylake Farm they are kicking off their Farm Days series by hosting a community u-pick event with food trucks, specialty mixed drinks, kids' activities, painting activities, a native pollinator garden, farm tractor rides, an artisan marketplace and special access to u-pick fresh Florida tangerines in the grove.
The extra special event will take place from 10 am - 4 pm on Saturday, November 19 & 26, and December 3 & 10.
It is free and open to the public, u-pick citrus will be available in 1 gallon and 2 gallon buckets.
Cherrylake Farm is in Groveland, about a 35 - 45 minute drive from Orlando.
Spanning over rolling hills, with lakes nestled in between, the Cherrylake family has been farming this land for two generations.
