Aerosmith have announced what they are calling their final tour: The Peace Out Tour including a night in Tampa.
After 50 years, rockers Aerosmith are saying 'peace out' and saying goodbye to the open road.
The band will celebrate their five decades of music criss crossing North America with a final run of 40 dates, starting September 2 in Philadelphia before a last sayonara next January in Montreal.
The Peace Out tour will take in arenas in Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Nashville, New York and Tampa, with the band taking to the stage at Amalie Arena on October 11.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am on Friday, May 5 via ticketmaster.com.
Several VIP packages including premium seating and a photo op with the band will also be available.
Singer Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarists Joe Perry and Ray Tabano formed Aerosmith in 1970.
Tabano left the group and was replaced by Brad Whitford before Aerosmith released their self-titled debut in 1973. The band has gone on to release 14 more studio albums, the most recent of which, Music From Another Dimension!, came out in November 2012.
Joey Kramer will not be performing on Aerosmith’s Peace Out Tour, just as he did not take part in the 2022 dates of the group’s Las Vegas residency. Instead, John Douglas will drum in Kramer’s place.
In a statement, Aerosmith explained: “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
