Winter Park residents have lost yet another restaurant, with Park Avenue Tavern now closed.
Yet another local restaurant has closed, with the Park Avenue Tavern in Winter Park closing its doors for good, choosing to close without any farewell to customers.
Park Avenue Tavern has only been in operation for two years, soft opening in February 2023.
The restaurant located in Hannibal Square at 558 W. New England Avenue, which was previously home to Dexter’s for many years, was operated by New York-based In Good Company Hospitality which also operates a sister concept in New York, also called Park Avenue Tavern.
The New York restaurant is still in operation, with the Park Avenue Tavern website removing any mention of the Winter park location, with the page for the Winter Park restaurant advising customers to visit the New York City location, https://parkavenuetavern.com/winter-park/.
The social media accounts for the Winter Park restaurant have been removed, with OpenTable, Yelp and Googe all stating that the restaurnt is permanently closed.
Park Avenue Tavern served lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and a full beverage menu with martinis and cocktails, wine, and cold beer.
