This nostalgic musical comedy celebrates the timeless songwriting magic of the legendary Neil Sedaka!  Set in a Catskills resort in 1960 this humorous and heartwarming musical follows two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend.

Performed at Osceola Arts, married couple Larry and Jinx embark on a luxury cruise and meet an elegant celebrity couple. A seemingly superficial agreement soon leads to complications for the couple that may only be solved by infidelity. Seasoned sitcom writer Ken Levine (M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier) puts a modern twist on the classic screwball comedy for this play. Rated R.

The first play in the Ren Theatre Companies 2024 new works series. Qualia is a sci-fi thriller written by local superstar Ashleigh Ann Gardner—you may remember her thrilling performance as Nosferatu’s scary Scottish vampire. Jullien Aponte (The Cocaine Play, and often seen behind the bar) joins a couple newcomers to the Ren: Megan Borkes and Jason Blackwater. If you’re a fan of “Black Mirror,” “Star Trek,” or “Sweet Tooth,” then you'll love Qualia.


Fun Box at The Florida Mall

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, check out FUNBOX at The Florida Mall. FUNBOX is 25,000 square feet of inflatable fun containing 10 play zones and an obstacle course. The Amazing Acro-Cats
January 24 - 28

This troupe of trained domestic house cats, all former orphans, rescues, and strays, give a one-of-a-kind purrformance that includes cats riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls, and performing other feats of agility and entertainment. The show finale is the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. The Rock Cats play guitar, drums, and piano, and they've been joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet, and clarinet. See them live at Orlando Stage.
