The Solar Bears will attempt to break a Guinness World Record on Tie Dye Nigh, February 4 at the Amway Center.
The Orlando Solar Bears will attempt to break a very colorful Guinness World Record on Saturday, February 4 at their Amway Center home, where the team will aim to be the largest gathering of people in one place wearing tie-dye clothing!
The record attempt will take place when the Solar Bears host the Florida Everblades, with the puck scheduled to drop at 7 p.m.
“We are excited to make this attempt at the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest gathering of people wearing tie-dye on February 4,” said Orlando Solar Bears President, Chris Heller. “We encourage the people of Central Florida to come out to the Amway Center to help us attempt this title.”
In order to qualify, fans must wear two pieces of tie-dye clothing to the game, including t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, accessories, etc.
In honor of the attempt, the Solar Bears will also be wearing tie-dye jerseys during the game that will be auctioned off after the game on DASH.
Fans are invited to stay after the game for a free postgame concert presented by Jamvana.
