Barbarella will soon be stomping the floor to new wave 80's music at a new location.
The iconic Orlando nightclub Barbarella has its dancing shows on and is on the move for a third time, this time dancing its way from the Packing District to Winter Park.
The club which originated on Orange Avenue in downtown, and best know for its mix of new wave 80's club classics held its final Memento Mori and New Wave Saturday at 4141 N. John Young Parkway over the Labor Day Weekend.
Barbarella is now setting up the DJ booth in Winter Park, finding a new forever home at The Axe Trap located on Lee Road.
Swapping a pickleball club for an axe throwing club, Barbarella will operate late in the evening on Saturdays only, after the last axe has been thrown.
No word on when Barbarella starts up the music again, but it is expected that they will be up and dancing again in the next few weeks. You can keep up with the latest from Barbarella on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/barbarellaorlando.
